Václav Lamr
Václav Lamr se narodil roku 1943 v Litovli. Vyučil se jako zedník a potom absolvoval
uměleckoprůmyslovou školu v Brně na oboru malířské techniky a malba v architektuře
(1961-1964). Později pracoval jako štukatér v uměleckých řemeslech, divadelní výtvarník,
arteterapeut, ošetřovatel na psychiatrii v Želivu a jako ošetřovatel tělesně postižených
v Habrovanech (1966-1970).
Před rokem 1968, v době myšlenkového a společenského uvolnění, vystavoval na
samostatných a kolektivních výstavách nastupující generace výtvarníků a pořádal literární
večery vlastní poesie v Brně a Praze. Byl zván i do zahraničí, ale tento vývoj přerušila
okupace v roce 1968. Od roku 1970, po událostech, které ho orientovaly ke křesťanským
hodnotám, zanechal na deset let uměleckou dráhu a zabýval se plně ilegální misijní a
evangelizační činností v rámci ,,neregistrovaného“ sboru letničních v Brně. V té době
pracoval také mezi Romy na východním Slovensku.
Od roku 1979 žil s manželkou Marií v Praze. Měli spolu dva syny, Kristiána a Davida.
Od roku 1980 byl opět veden k obnově umělecké činnosti, kterou používal se záměrem
podpořit evangelizační činnost.
V roce 1991 založil v Praze českou odnož mezinárodního hnutí křesťanů - podnikatelů
známou jako „Obchodníci plného evangelia“ (Full Gospel Bussinesmen´s Fellowship
Internacional- FGBMFI), která sdružuje muže všech povolání a také i umělce.
Jako součást své misijní činnosti psal články, poezii a aforismy, tvořil obrazy a grafiky,
kterými chtěl přiblížit závažná a známá biblické témata s všelidskou platností (Návrat
ztraceného syny, Milosrdný Samaritán, Zápas Jákoba s andělem, utrpení Joba atd.).
Vystavoval v různých českých městech i v zahraničí. Tyto výstavy jsou vynikajícím
prostředím pro přirozeně vedené evangelizační rozhovory. Na základě své misijní činnosti v
romských osadách získal materiál pro ilustrace několika knih romských autorů a pro česko-
romský překlad Janova evangelia. Byl evidován jako výtvarník národních menšin v české
republice.
S manželkou založil misijní sdružení Christ art mission (CAM), kde využíval k šíření
křesťanských hodnot umělecké formy.
Několik let se skrze „Fórum angažovaných křesťanů“(FAK) angažoval i v politické sféře,
kde oslovoval lidi veřejné sféry i kontroverzní skupiny. Skrze kreativní formy evangelizace
konal plakátovou a billbordovou misii a evangelizační přednášky a výstavy mezi ezoteriky na
jejich festivalech.
V posledních letech se zaměřoval na aktualizaci duchovního odkazu české reformace (akce
kolem Betlémské kaple v Praze, čtení Slova v ulicích, happeningy, oslovování zahraničních
turistů a cizinců v Praze). Hledal nové formy jak oslovit lidi evangeliem.
